The First Dog I Met That's Afraid of Me

That’s right. I’m usually afraid of dogs - well those of massive size *cough cough Jeff :P* - but Lola (their dog) is afraid of me. I woke up this morning and tried to pet her but she shied away :(. Once Carolin got home from school though Lola was fine.

Anywho, I slept for 14 hours last night. Felt pretty good :]. Chill day, went grocery shopping and got my watched fixed because the band broke :(. Tomorrow I’m getting a sim card for my phone. This is major important because not only will I be able to call home if necessary BUUUUT my phone will tell the correct time instead of Miami time.

Grocery stores in Europe are less like Publix and more like Walmart/Target. It’s interesting that groceries in Germany are about 1/3 of the price in Austria, says Kathrin. It’s because of the taxes.

I was introduced to some of the neighborhood kids that Carolin plays with today. A few were shy and stared a bit. I don’t know if it’s because I’m foreign/look different or I’m just wayyy older. A lot of people I saw today (grocery store included) had a t-shirt on and most of the time, there was a phrase in English on it.

The girls tried singing Poker Face and Old McDonald today. They don’t really know the words in English, especially to Poker Face; they only know the sounds she makes. So it’ll sound like gan re my gan re ma no ih gan re ah mah POKER FACEEEE. Cute :D

Update: 9:00 my time so 3pm your time - my watch band broke again. UGH
